    This client provides an all natural male enhancement pill designed to cure erectile dysfunction disorder, to consumers worldwide. The client website offered 5 packages of the product, utilizing an off the shelves shopping cart system.

    The client had an affordable product that really works, leading to strong reputation and a high number of repeat customers. All business has been driven by pay per click advertising on Google. All customer support, fulfillment and post-sales was done in-house.

Business Challeneges

  1. Increasing costs of pay per click advertising and the introduction of Google's "Quality Score" hurt client's profitability.
  2. Competition from well established brand names as well as fly-by-night stealth operations, shrunk market share drove and customers to look for differentiators. The client had a dated website look&feel and no retention programs.

How Software Projects helped

    SPI kept original client's website as-is for benchmarking purposes and created 5 new websites, each targeting a specific niche with unique style. SPI integrated a back-office management system letting client easily manage orders, transactions, customers, product placement and customer support cases across all websites from a single executive dashboard. SPI also implemented an aggressive Email Marketing campaign and ongoing pay per click bid management to increase profitability across all sites.

Result

    Within three months, client received a 255% return on investment (ROI) from new sales, a 47% reduction in marketing cost and a streamlined business process flow. Client's daily pay per click advertising spend has been slashed in half while maintaining consistent profitability. Client is expected to see further cost savings upon migration to SPI front-end shopping cart and transferring a larger portion of the marketing budget away from pay per click - towards Email Marketing. As part of this business optimization process, SPI also implemented pay per click campaigns on MSN/Yahoo and a link popularity campaign on Google, however the results of these two recent initiatives have not been capitalized yet as of this writing.
