Doing a search on eBay for "dating website" returns 63 results. Turns out you could get a full fledged working dating website complete with domain, source code and operating manual for about $5:

* "Profitable online dating business" - $4.00
* "Fully developed dating website with free domain" - $2.50
* "Dating Website Script (PHP)" - $5.84

What about a Casino website? Those are good money right? Searching for "casino website" on eBay returns 67 results with "established profitable poker and casino website"s going for $0.99 to $3 per website.

Each site comes complete with html files, images, operating manual, free domain, existing customer base, PayPal account and free help.

Sounds too good to be true?

Well... Unfortunately, as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

A more in-depth look at these offerings reveals in most cases you're either getting a basic script, sold to hundreds of other buyers, or a white-labeled site where you will be promoting (at your own expense) the services of another company, earning a commission on new paying customers you generate.

In general, buying "ready made sites" is not something we recommend if you're looking to actually make money with your new site.

Success online involves Unique offering coupled with Strong Marketing, generating a sufficient number of website visitors to your site and getting those visitors to take a desired action (signup, click on an ad, download whitepaper etc)

Ready Made Sites are often too basic, impossible to customize & maintain and require the same degree of Marketing as your own new unique site.
