Many of the Web site awards awards are less about competition and more
about a distribution of Web site traffic. Sites getting awards hope
to attract visitors from the award sites, and sites giving awards hope
to attract visitors from the recipient sites. When considering potential
awards, consider the demands, if any, imposed on winners. Some award
sites may request bigger and better placement than is appropriate for
your site.
