How to: Setup synchronization for multiple stores

SoftwareProjects Payment Center was designed to facilitiate automatic updating of all prices, product images and product descriptions across multiple shopping carts.

If your inventory availablity, pricing or product images tend to fluctuate, this is a great way to keep everything up-to-date, ensuring you maintain a desired target profit margin across all sites and display updated images to your customers.

To get started, login to your account and define the shopping cart you're looking to keep synchronized under "Product Manager - Setup - Stores":



Once your stores are defined, you can either setup an automated sync to take place on given time intervals, or you can initiate an On-demand Sync by clicking the "Sync" button next to the store you're looking to update:



The synchronization process takes place in the background. Depending on the number of products in your store, it can take anywhere from 3 minutes to two hours for completion of the sync process.

The synchronization process performs the following tasks, per each store:

* Download all Products - This takes care of downloading every single product listing on your store and creating a corresponding listing in SoftwareProjects Payment Center.

* Download all Customers & Orders - Download all customer records, transactions and orders, creating corresponding records in SoftwareProjects Payment Center.

* Upload price changes to meet target profit margin - The synchronization process will change listing prices for every product that doesn't meet the defined target profit margin for that store.

To view results, access the "Product Manager - Log" interface. This screen shows any system notifications related to your stores and will include a summary of completed syncs:
