It seems like anyone is a search engine marketer these days... recording benchmarks and setting expectations is probably the most important tip here.

I have been paying a lot of money every month for this search engine consultant and I have nothing to show for it.

Pamela - I'm not sure what you're talking about but you sure do look great

If you can setup a pay-for-performance deal with your sem agency that's ideal, otherwise I try to go with low fixed retainer and high bonuses that are milestone driven.
