As 2007 is coming to an end, our Marketing Communications team completed revising all 300 pages of Software Projects marketing collaterals and I wanted to share some of our 2007 highlights via the SoftwareProjects blog.
Background - The Evolution of a Software Projects company
SoftwareProjects - the company, was established 9 years ago, late 1998.
The company got started with a small 5 person team offering bare bones Technology Consulting to small businesses who lacked an in-house IT department.
By 2001, it became obvious our clients are looking for more than just consulting - they were looking for US based professionals to do the work. SoftwareProjects launched a Custom Web Development division and began offering on-demand pay-by-the-hour high quality programming, graphic design and copywriting services.
By 2004, SoftwareProjects released various Web Services to complement its web design efforts. Whether clients were looking for a CRM system, a Web analytics package, an Email Marketing service or Web hosting - SoftwareProjects was there to deliver.
2005 and 2006 marked the years of Professional Services. SoftwareProjects entered the Internet Marketing realm, offering clients "big picture solutions" to increase traffic and better monetize on their existing inventory. PPC Management, Landing page design and Email newsletters are a few of the services SoftwareProjects launched, all of which are still proving to be instrumental in ensuring our clients consistent growth.
Everyone loves Paying by Results
2007 was undoubtfuly the year of the Join Ventures and CPA deals for us. SoftwareProjects announced a lead generation service, where we use our multidisciplinary expertise to generate business for our partners and get paid by results.
To say the new lead generation department have been a phenomenal success would be an understatement. As you can see in the sales chart below, total revenues from Joint Ventures & CPA deals in 2007 far exceeds revenues from every single one of our legacy services.

2007 Highlights
1. SoftwareProjects gains Google's Qualified Company status, managing close to $50M in Pay Per Click budget.
2. SoftwareProjects elected as one of the nation's 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies by Inc Magazine.
3. SoftwareProjects introduces a pay-by-results Lead Generation service.
4. SoftwareProjects opens a frequently updated Resources section, also known as - the SoftwareProjects Blog. In 10 months the blog skyrockets to 5,000 views per day.
5. SoftwareProjects launches three new services: Social Network Submit, Search Marketing Report and Media Buys management.
6. SoftwareProjects professional staff grows to 300.
