While many Internet Marketing companies stay away from non mainstream, we cater to the needs of all businesses, as long as the business follows ethical and legal regulations.

But the point of this post is not to solicit new clients.

I wanted to highlight one of the techniques we used for this client, that is applicable to all types of businesses.

It has to do with creating multiple non-related entities (websites) for a single business, all catering to the needs of the same industry but each focusing on a particular niche or style.

The Internet these days is all about niches and long tail.

Back in 1999, the common norm was to have a single corporate website for your business and include all information about your products, services, competition, pricing, faq etc. on that single website.

In the last few years, Internet Marketers discovered the power of landing pages as a way to increase conversion rates by delivering a specific message to a smaller group of users. The concept around Landing Pages is to create a standalone mini-website per each of your products and services, then drive online traffic to these super focused landing pages.

Landing pages still carry your company brand, but instead of the user having 50 links to choose from (when visiting your corporate website), a landing page takes the user through a step-by-step process, ending with turning the website visitor to a qualified lead or paying customer.

The latest technique on the topic of attracting more customers - is the approach of creating completely separate online entities for the same business, without making it obvious that there is a tie between them.

We've used this technique for both main-strem and non main-stream clients and it is very effective in saturated markets.

It allows a small unknown player to capture a larger marketshare by offering consumers more options catering to their specific needs.
