Google Analytics SoftwareProjects.com StatisticsAdrian Singer, 11-08-2007 |
On my recent post I made a comment about how our SoftwareProjects Internet Marketing & Web development blog is becoming quite popular.
Paulette, one of our readers, posted a comment asking if I could share some stats.
So... Without further ado, SoftwareProjects.com stats for yesterday - November 7, 2007, brought to you by Google Analytics.

Yesterday was a slow day, bringing in a total of 3,193 unique visitors from 95 sources.
Our average traffic to softwareprojects.com/resources (this blog you're reading right now) is currently hovering around 5,000 unique visitors per day, totalling close to 2 million unique visitors per year.
Definitely not a lot, compared to other commercial sites we manage, but a decent accomplishment considering this blog was launched less than a year ago.

How did we get here?
By focusing on "Pages per Visit", "Average time on site" and "Percentage of Repeat Visits".
Regardless of which analytics software you use, those three metrics are your best friends. Focus on increasing the pages per visit and average time visitors spend on your site and you will increase your overall traffic significantly.
How?
By engaging your visitors, inspring them and always providing fresh valuable content. The 3 secrets to site stickiness.
